GRANDE PINES EQUESTRIAN COMMUNITY
I have been a little lazy with my writing this past week….but that is just because the weather has been SO beautiful. Consequently, I have been out riding my horse and playing as much golf as I can … so let’s just call in “field research”! This week it is raining so I am writing (instead of riding) away!!
As I enjoy traveling and discovering new and amazingly beautiful communities to golf and ride in, I can’t forget that I have some of the most spectacular places to live right here in my own back yard. One of these equestrian communities is called Grande Pines and it is located in the Foxfire area of Moore County, NC. I also happen to have one of the most amazing homes for sale in this community as well. Let me tell you a little more about both of them…
WHAT IS IT LIKE TO LIVE IN GRANDE PINES?
Grande Pines is a gated equestrian community situated on 830 acres of gorgeous rolling terrain. It is located just about 15 minutes to the west of Pinehurst. Homesites range from 2.5 acres all the way up to twenty acres for those that want the utmost in privacy. One of the things I love most about Grande Pines is the trail system. The 15 foot wide trails throughout the property are perfect for hiking, walking the dogs and of course riding your horse.

… are well marked and allow you to explore the beautiful Pine plantation, woodlands and creeks that are rich in wildlife. Grande Pines even has a “Sportsman’s Community Cabin”. This community cabin was built using civil war materials, along with re-purposed church windows and pot belly stove. This cabin provides a great spot for reading a book on the cabin deck while listening to the rolling creek, an afternoon picnic, an evening cookout or just good conversation around the fire pit. The cabin also features a barbecue grill, and picnic tables. Grande Pines sportsman cabin also provides a lending library & games for the whole family to enjoy. While Grande Pines IS an equestrian community….there are just as many families that love the outdoors and the privacy….as there are those that own horses.
